The PowrTrol from Glas-Col is ideally suited for accurate control of mantles, tapes, cords, and other resistive loads. The unit is a solid-state, proportional-voltage control that provides precise manual control of the output range, which is adjustable from 5-100%.The heating mantles in this package represent one of the most popular items in the Glas-Col family of laboratory products. The standard Series O mantles are for round-bottom flasks from 50 ml to 5,000 ml in both 115V and 230V where available. Series O mantles are made of flexible fabric and represent one of the most economical ways to safely heat chemicals in the lab. It should be used with a support as shown in the Series O mantle section of this catalog. The fabric interior cushions the glassware to reduce the chance of breakage. The mantles are designed to withstand an internal operating temperature of 450°C and 115 volt units are CSA certified
